Refund Policy

Last updated August 12, 2026 · Draft pending legal review

The plain-language version

Pro is $49/year. If it isn’t for you, ask for your money back within 14 days of being charged — first purchase or renewal — and you get it, no questions asked. Outside that window, cancel instead: renewal stops, Pro runs to the end of the paid year, and everything you created stays yours either way.

1. The 14-day window

Every charge — the first purchase and each annual renewal — is fully refundable for 14 days from the day it lands. We don’t ask why. If you believe a renewal charged you by surprise, say so even if you’re past the window; we’d rather refund than argue.

2. How to ask

Email support@openhuntmaps.com from your account address, or reply to the Paddle receipt that came with the charge. Paddle is our merchant of record and processes the refund to your original payment method — typically within 5–10 business days of approval.

3. After a refund

Your account returns to the free tier immediately. Nothing you created is lost: waypoints, routes, and tracks stay on your devices, and GPX/GeoJSON export is a free-tier feature, permanently.

4. Consumers in the EU and UK

Your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the purchase date and is honored on the same no-questions terms above.

5. Outside the window

We don’t prorate partial years. Cancelling (two clicks in Account → Billing) stops the renewal and keeps Pro active until the period you paid for ends.
