OpenHunt, by Erudition Labs LLC · applies to the OpenHunt app and openhuntmaps.com

How to delete your account

Open openhuntmaps.com/account in any browser and sign in — you don’t need the app installed. Scroll to “Delete account”, press Delete my account, and confirm with Yes, delete everything. Deletion is immediate. If you can’t sign in, email support@openhuntmaps.com from your account’s email address and we’ll verify and delete it for you.

What is deleted

Everything tied to your account, immediately and permanently: your profile (email address and display name), waypoints, routes, tracks, notes and hunt records synced to our servers, trips and share links, Watch targets, rules and notices, registered devices, and sign-in sessions. Rows are removed, not flagged as deleted.

What is kept, and for how long

Two things survive deletion. Sync tombstones — object ids with no content, used so your other devices stop syncing cleanly — age out within 180 days. And a single audit entry recording that the deletion happened (the account id and, for paid accounts, the billing reference) is retained for billing and legal reconciliation. Data stored on your own devices stays on your devices; remove it by deleting items in the app or uninstalling.

Before you go

Export is free, permanently: waypoints, routes, and tracks download as GPX or GeoJSON from the app or the website. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first from Account → Billing — the refund policy applies as usual.

Deleting data without deleting your account

You can delete any individual waypoint, route, track, trip, or Watch target in the app at any time; the deletion propagates to our servers. For anything else — including a full copy or correction of your data — email support@openhuntmaps.com. Full details are in the privacy policy.
